Basketball was invented in America in 1891 when Dr James Naismith decided he needed to create a game which teams could play that would be fun and get people fit. Basketball is a game that
anybody can play, is easy to learn and very much requires skill rather than strength.
Here at Hillsborough Leisure Centre we have two Basketball Courts available to hire loacted in our multi-use Sports Hall.
