Swashbuckling adventures launched in support of Sports Relief
Calling all swashbucklers! Prepare to be blown out of the high seas with the Bucaneering adventure series - Mad Dog Treasure Hunts. The first installment of the swashbuckling adventure; 'The legend of Redbeards gold' is being launched at Hillsborough Leisure Centre to coincide with Sports Relief to help raise funds for the charity. Mad Dog treasure hunts will be available all year round at the Penistone Road venue from 10th March and are designed for school visits by promoting important key skills to youngsters that fit in with the schools curriculum.
The entralling adventures comprise of a treasure hunt activity, prize for the winning team, a chance to meet Capt. Mad Dog and a one hour leisure swim at The Beach. It will also be the first time budding pirates will encounter the evil pirate Captain 'Redbeard the Merciless' During the opeing week 10th-14th March, 50% of all proceeds raised from the treasure hunts will be donated to the sport relief charity.
