prepare to be blown out of the water with Captain Mad Dogs bucaneering adventure treasure hunts.
Join the crew and help Captain Mad Dog on his quest to uncover the legend of Redbeards Gold.

What do the treasure hunts consist of?

The treasure hunts are a combination of numerical equations, English language puzzles, riddles and brainteasers - Combined with active games that promote fair play, co-operation, responsibility and teamwork.

The adventures are closely linked with the schools national curriculum to help promote important key skills that are essential for development such as application of number, communication, working with others, problem solving,
social development and moral development.

How much does it cost?

Available from only £3 per child!
A minimum of 10 children are required for a treasure hunt to take place


What is included in the activities?

Treasure Hunt adventure - Children work in teams to uncover clues that will help discover the location of Redbeards gold, but beware because Redbeard is out to put a stop to your treasure hunting plans!!

A chance to meet Captain Mad Dog & Redbeard 'The Merciless;

One hour leisure swim at 'The Beach'

Meet Mad Dog at Hillsborough Leisure Centre
Mad Dog came to Hillsborough Leisure Centre as a Cool Dude 4 years ago as a young pup. After hanging around the Beach, surfing for 2 years Mad Dog heard about the Treasure of Redbeard the Merciless and began training hard to become one of the best pirates ever seen.

He set sail on his new ship ‘The Mad Dog’ to find the T reasure. 2 Years ago Pirate Mad Dog returned and dropped anchor of the Mad Dog Pirate Ship at the Beach at Hillsborough Leisure Centre after discovering Redbeard’s treasure was already hidden somewhere in the centre…

Who is Redbeard?
Meet Redbeard at Hillsborough Leisure Centre
Redbeard the Merciless is one of the most feared and gruesome pirates to have ever sailed the high seas! After years of tormenting the pirate land and stealing the gold from his enemies he mysteriously vanished. Legend of his lost gold reached all shores and hundreds of pirates set out to capture the riches.

Mad Dog found the secret map that pointed towards where Redbeards treasure was hidden – Hillsborough Leisure Centre. As he began to search for the gold Mad Dog unknowingly freed Redbeard from his mysterious curse and the Merciless Captain is now roaming The Beach and will do anything to stop Mad Dog finding his gold.
